Soup Day

It is officially below 30 degrees here, and thanks to Texas's amazingly high amount of humidity and prairie like winds, it feels like it's 7 degrees outside! To top it off, all of my family's water pipes are frozen and the pipes at the chicken houses burst...So off trekked the men to go fix that! Thank goodness for big strong men who will go brave the cold to fix things so us girls don't have too! I've had my fair share of fixing ranch things in the cold, but now I have a brother-in-law, which means I am no longer low man on the Totem pole! Yay, for the small things in life! Anyways thanks to the cold, it feels like a soup day. You know, one of those days where you pull out the giant soup mug and curl up on the couch with a good book and an old movie...right now I'm reading Little Men and watching Gone With the Wind(def. one of my top 5!). Well I wanted to show some photos today, but I didn't have any photos of soup, so I thought I'd show you some fruit! Here is a photo-shoot I did recently just for the heck of it! I thought the color scheme went with the recent weather! You know the snow that covers half the nation...ya that color scheme! Enjoy and stay warm guys!
